I'm Looking for Laura Quinn, my non biological but bone fide real deal twin.
Do you know her? Have you seen her? I lost her somewhere, on the way to here.
A curious story from the 90's (which are bound to become cool and retro really soon), is one of Helen Cuinn's standard left field tell it at parties yarns - she has a double, a doppleganger, a twin, called Laura Quinn...
Unfortunately, as suddenly as she showed up, she has gone, leaving more than a few questions in Helen's mind.
In January 2009 Helen decided to take matters into her own hands and begin the search in earnest for the girl that even her own mother mistook for Helen. Looking for Laura Quinn exists as both a web-based project and a live performance appeal.
Using popular social networking websites and an internet appeal as a springboard for a live lecture performance, Helen is combing the country, taking trips down memory lane and trying to reconnect to something that probably never existed in the first place...
"Full of bright performing ideas." (Joyce MacMillan, The Scotsman on Play Part 4 at the Arches)
